On Friday 7th March 2003 a meeting was arranged by a number of Berwick Rangers supporters to announce the launch of our organisation.
Around one hundred people attended the meeting in Berwick Town Hall for the newly formed committee to explain to supporters to discuss the aims of the newly formed trust.
The meeting proved to be very positive for the fans that attended and many joined with immediate effect. Also, former Chairman, the late David McLean who attended the meeting that night donated the 1,000 shares that he owned in the football club to the trust.
In the ten years since, the trust has donated around £60,000 to Berwick Rangers Football Club, has a committee member on the BRFC board and is a major shareholder of the club.
At present, the membership stands at an all time high figure of 242 members.
A lot of hard work has been done and dedication been given by the current and previous board members. A big thank you to all those who served past and previous – past board members include – Colin Pike, David Cook, Eric Deighton, Paul Smith, Karen Thorburn, Gemma Law, Callie Denholm, Kirsty McLeod, Derek Purvis, Ian Gregory, George Thompson, Cameron Waterhouse, Brian Parkin, Mark Swanston, Edward McCall, Dave Stewart & Nick Vagg.
Our aim is to build on the last ten years success for the greater good of Berwick rangers Football Club.
