Club Secretary Dennis McCleary has been named as an Honorary member of the Supporters Trust. Dennis joined as Assistant Secretary in 1970 and despite a couple of short spells away from the club still fills the role today after over 50 years. Dennis, a former postman, is one of the most recognisable figures in lower league Scottish football and is often referred to as a stalwart of The Borderers. Dennis has also been involved with Berwick Speedway for a similar length of time, fulfilling a number of roles with the speedway club.

After writing to Dennis to extend the offer of Trust honorary membership Dennis was delighted to accept.

Dennis has been sent an Honorary membership certificate to commemorate his induction as an honorary member of the Trust. An article will feature in the next addition of the Trust magazine.
