FORFAR ATHLETIC  6  BERWICKRANGERS  2  ( Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 )
Berwick Rangers found themselves 5-1 down after forty minutes away to the Development League East leaders. Rangers again fielded numerous trialists. To ensure some height at the heart of the defence, full backs Gregor Watson and Euan Bauld were paired as centre backs with two trialists, both usually midfield men, completing the defensive line-up.
Forfar took only two minutes to open their account with a 20 yard shot from Cameron Clark. Ben Miller equalised on the quarter of an hour mark by heading in a cross from a debutant trialist. Parity was shortlived as two minutes later, Michael Kennedy restored the home side’s lead.
Berwick got in a couple of decent shots before a mix up between Bauld and keeper Nils Bleakley led to Craig Smith scoring Forfar’s third goal ( 28 minutes ). Ten minutes later, Paul McLellan struck number four from the corner of the penalty area.
Berwick’s cause was further undermined by the giving away of two penalties, the first put away by Clark five minutes prior to the half time whistle.
Two minutes into the new half, another header produced Berwick’s second goal, Daniel Watt the scorer from Miller’s free kick.
Clark ended the scoring in the 53rd minute by completing his hat trick with another spot kick after Zak Khouiel was penalised for tripping.
Some good passing created a 75th minute chance for another debutant trialist  and shortly afterwards Watt headed wide but the inexperienced visitors improved second half performance could not undo the first half damage.
