With no first team home game again this weekend, fans might consider going to Shielfield on Saturday ( October 13th ) to see Berwick Rangers Reserves play Eyemouth United in the East of Scotland League.
It will be the third meeting between the teams this season. The Reserves won 5-3 at Shielfield in the Qualifying League but eleven days later, Eyemouth came out on top 4-2 in an excellent First Division encounter at Warner Park.
The ‘Fishermen’, who like the Reserves are fielding a much changed team from last season, have won all five of their opening league games and currently lie second in the table, whilst the Reserves are seeking a fifth win on the trot in competitive matches.
Saturday’s game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Admission is £4 and £2 ( concessions ) with Berwick Rangers F.C. season tickets also valid for entry. There is a match programme on sale at £1 and refreshments are available in the club rooms behind the Main Stand, payment by donations.
