BERWICK RANGERS  5  COWDENBEATH  0

( Sunday, February 14th, 2016 )

After a 7-0 drubbing away to Stirling Albion in their last outing, Berwick Rangers’ Development League team bounced back with a big win of their own in this ‘home’ match played at Junior club Blackburn United’s ground in West Lothian.

Berwick had three trialists in their 14-man squad and one of them (B.Trialist ) scored a brace. It was a mixed afternoon for Charlie Denton. He scored one of Berwick’s three first half goals but was sent off in the second period with the score still at 3-0. Regan Graham and Barry Hogg were the other names on the scoresheet.

It was a second victory this season for Berwick against their ‘Blue Brazil’ counterparts. In September, the ‘Black and Gold’ won by the odd goal in seven at Central Park.

Berwick Rangers: Walters, McDonald, Denton, McConnell, A.Trialist,  Ingram, Hogg, B.Trialist, R.Graham, Pattenden, Watt
Subs: Herriot, Chitemere, C.Trialist
