The Board of Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust will hold one of its regular meetings this Saturday, February 15th which any Trust member can attend. The venue is ‘The Pilot Inn’, Low Greens, Berwick, commencing at 11:00 a.m. One important item on the agenda will be how to utilise the money collected at the home game against Peterhead on Saturday, December 28th last year. This match was sponsored by the Trust and admission through the turnstiles was free with spectators invited to make donations. As a result, a sum of almost £1,800 was collected.
Saturday’s meeting precedes Berwick Rangers’ home SPFL 2 meeting with Elgin City which kicks off at Shielfield at 4:00 p.m. The match is a 4 p.m start to allow attendance at the funeral of Club Director Jeff Burnlees.
Berwick will be looking to extend their unbeaten league run under new manager Colin Cameron to five matches after picking up another three points from a hard earned 1-0 victory over Queen’s Park at Shielfield last Saturday ( Feb. 8th ). Darren Lavery was the scorer of the goal which was created by Ross Gray, a surprise inclusion after radio reports suggested he would be out of action for up to four weeks with a knee injury.
