Issue No. 32 of Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust Magazine ( formerly Newsletter ) is about to be printed by InHouse Design. Once again, it contains 24 pages and is free to members ( £2 to non members ). We cover events regarding the club Board up to and including August 3rd. Some hard hitting articles focus on the club’s problems but a ‘Stop Press’ gives the result from Berwick’s opening SPFL 2 game, the one-nil victory over visitors Stirling Albion.
The Black and Gold certainly rode their luck in the first half, the Binos twice hitting the post with another effort deflected on to Sean Brennan’s bar for corner. Albion did find the net with a header but the flag went up for offside. Berwick were definitely the better team after the break, Darren Lavery creating one particularly good chance before Ross Brown bagged the only goal in the 65th minute.
