Long-time Berwick Rangers supporter & Trust member Stuart Bell has just published his first book, an entertaining ramble describing 15 walks around the North Yorkshire Moors, interspersed with visits to local hostelries and peppered with Stuart’s dry sense of humour. Remember he’s the guy who scripted the hugely entertaining and rather controversial “Guide to Berwick pubs” in an early edition of the much-missed BRFC fanzine “From the Grove to the Harrow”. The book is based on Staurt’s monthly column in the Whitby Gazette, but has 500 or so words extra added to each route plus maps and over 100 original colour photos.
The book, “Rambling on and on..” , is available at a discount to Trust members, and Stuart has generously agreed to donate £2 to the Trust for every copy sold to a Trust member/friend of a Trust member
If you’d like to get hold of a copy of this excellent tome, Trust members/friends should email Stuart at [email protected] quoting “Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust”. Stuart will then email the buyer his address so they can send him a cheque for £13.99 (i.e. £1 off, plus £2 for postage) OR he’ll arrange to bring a copy of the book to Berwick to give to the buyer at a home match if you want to save the postage. Either way, Stuart will also sign each copy sold.
