Trust Pays Final Instalment Towards Training Costs
Berwick Rangers Supporters Trust recently paid the final instalment of £1,500 to the football club as its contribution towards the cost of midweek training facilities. Rangers now split training between Haddington ( Tuesdays ) and Ainslie Park in Edinburgh, home of Spartans F.C. ( Thursdays ) but costs still work out as much the same as for two sessions a week at Haddington which was the arrangement earlier in the season. In all, the Trust has contributed £4,500 which equals half the season’s cost of hiring the facilities.
** Congratulations to Trust member John Hush whom it was announced at last month’s club AGM is its new Honorary President. John, who has a very long association with Berwick Rangers and is a director of the club, takes over the Presidency from another Trust member, Sir Alan Beith, who will retire as a Member of Parliament at May’s General Election.
*** The next meeting of the Trust Board will take place on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in ‘The Pilot Inn’ in Low Greens, Berwick. Any Trust member can attend. That afternoon, Berwick host Queen’s Park in SPFL 2, kick off 3:00 p.m.
